Occasional re-conditioning after use will help protect the surface and promote long life of the product.

USAGE

  • Perfect Pans are suitable for any hob, Please order from our Induction range if you have an induction hob, They are suitable for any domestic grill, or in any domestic oven Oven safe to 260°C. Lids safe to 220°C (Not suitable for microwave ovens.)
  • When using on a glass top hob always lift the pan on and off, never slide the pan.
  • Use Medium and Low heats when cooking as the pans have a solid base which retains heat, so therefore you save energy, while cooking foods at regular speed (for searing meats etc. use high heat initially then reduce temperature).
  • The pan should never be left empty on a high heat for any length of time.
  • You can if you wish add a little oil or fat to the cooking surface before heating, this can improve flavour and aid browning of food, At NO time should the oil be allowed to smoke, cool the pan should this occur, we do not recommend oils with a low temperature burning point eg Olive Oil. Fat free cooking is OK. Please remember to re-condition your pan regularly if dry cooking.
  • Do not store foods in your Pans.
  • You can use any utensils with our cookware with care, though if using metal, do not scrape, poke or prod the interior, we recommend high heat silicon.
  • Never cut food inside the pan.
  • Hand held utensils and blenders can be used with care, though should not come into contact with interior.
  • Detachable handles are not to be placed in the oven, though fixed once are Ovensafe.
  • Always use an oven glove or similar when handling hot cookware.
  • Pan must be kept clean using soapy water after each use. Do not use scourers, or abrasive brushes or cleaning agents.
  • If using a dishwasher the base will go dull in appearance and surface can become dry, please recondition more regularly if using a dishwasher.

Induction Hob Cooking

  • Always match the diameter of the stainless steel disc in the base of pan to the induction hob cooking zone.
  • Using a pan with a small stainless steel disc on too large a cooking zone may result in a weaker magnetic field being created and reduced heat output. In some cases the hob may not “recognise” the pan and no heat will be generated.
  • DO NOT use the boost function for longer than is required to bring the pan’s contents to a boil. The boost function should only be used for rapid heating of large quantities of water e.g. for boiling pasta or vegetables.
  • During cooking, you may notice some slight noise being generated in the pan by the induction hob. This will not damage the pan or affect cooking performance.

Oils and fats

  • You can if you wish add a little oil or fat to the cooking surface before heating begins. This will improve the flavour and browning of foods. At no time should the oil or fat be allowed to become smoking hot. If this should occur cool the pan before proceeding. Please do not use Olive oil or oils with a low burning temperature, we recommend either Rapeseed or Sunflower oil.
